The day was a huge success and enjoyed by all.
About 250 visitors shared the day with us. In conversation with a few visitors, they had only praise and appreciation for the opportunity to spend time with family in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. I have not heard a single negative comment which is truly heart-warming.
The tea & coffee garden which was run by Fleurenville staff and received a lot of attention with tasty cake and tarts on offer that disappeared quickly. It was excellently presented, and they definitely contributed a lot to the festive atmosphere of the day.
In addition to our lovely tea garden, there were also 25 stalls selling a large selection of wares and crafts. All or most were homemade and contributed to the fairground effect of the day. Everyone could buy something that reminded them of the festival. We extend our sincere appreciation to the stall owners who put in the time and effort to make the day perfect.
Lastly, but definitely not least, we must thank Mr Cobus Locke, the CEO of Fleurenville, and his management and staff who arranged the day. We appreciate the careful planning that went into this event – it has once again proven that we are in good and caring hands.
