1 March 2021
In terms of the Disaster Management Act, and the adjustment to level 1 (published in the Government Gazette 44201 of 28 February 2021) – “controlled visits by members of the public to older persons residential facilities, are prohibited, except to the extent and in the manner directed by the relevant Cabinet member”. To date, no further direction has been published by the relevant Cabinet member.
Fleurenville Aged Care Centre will continue with controlled visits to residents as allowed in Level 1 of lockdown.
The following protocol will be compulsory:
- Wearing a mask (covering mouth and nose)
- Scanning at the gate
- Sanitising
- Practicing social distancing during the visit.
These measures are not negotiable – we must protect our residents and staff.
All planned visits must be coordinated with Matron Estelle Dannhauser. If no appointment is made, access to the premises will not be allowed by our security and reception staff.
We are looking forward to seeing you at Fleurenville, keeping in mind your family member and our staff’s health and wellness.
Please stay safe.
Regards
Fleurenville Management
